På Kunstbok Oslo har jeg med 3 publikasjoner, hvorav 2 er samarbeidsprosjekter med @anethonknutsen ✨ Bio fra nettsida; Min praksis kombinerer tradisjonelle teknikker og eksperimentelle uttrykk med fokus på artistbooks, maleri, fresko, grafikk, skriving og tegning. Kunstnerbøkene fungerer som et fritt rom der prosess, tekst og bilde møtes, ofte realisert gjennom risoprint og letterpress. Her undersøker jeg forholdet mellom håndverk, narrativ og konsept, samtidig som jeg utforsker hvordan kunst og liv uunngåelig veves sammen. Maleri og fresko utgjør en sentral del av praksisen, fra detaljerte, håndverksmessige freskoarbeider til mer eksperimentelle maleriske uttrykk. Gjennom hele praksisen kombineres håndverksmessig presisjon med en fri, kunstnerisk utforskning av ulike temaer, med en gjennomgående eksperimentell og sjangeroverskridende tilnærming, alltid med det koloristiske som en rød tråd uansett medium. eng/ My practice combines traditional techniques and experimental approaches, with a focus on artist books, painting, fresco, printmaking, writing and drawing. The artist books function as a free space where process, text, and image meet, often realized through risoprint and letterpress. Here, I explore the relationship between craft, narrative, and concept, whilst also investigating how art and life inevitably intertwine. Painting and fresco form a central part of my practice, ranging from detailed, handcrafted murals to more experimental painterly expressions. The house of Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant and a gathering point for some of the 20th century’s most radical artists, writers and thinkers known collectively as the Bloomsbury group. To Vanessa it seemed every door and wall was a canvas, and rebelling against perfectionists like William Morris and the Victorians, she splashed paint on nearly every surface of the house. Had a great time at the 34th international Virgini Had a great time at the 34th international Virginia Woolf conference at Sussex and London! Got to present Hiding in plain sight, on Tove Janssons art and literature and about her 2 frescoes in Helsinki. It was my first paper, a bit nervewrecking, but I’m glad I took the plunge! We met so many nice people and had so many inspiring conversations, visiting Monks house and playing boules!
